Our Transport Plus service is designed to help people to live independently and happily at home. We know how important it is for people to remain connected with their communities, and understand that a little extra support can make a world of difference.
Our volunteers will provide transport and help with tasks such as:
- Assisting with shopping
- Accompanying people to primary or secondary health appointments
- Accompanying people to social or recreational activities outside of the home
- Providing a companionship service.
We make trips to various different locations which are agreed prior to the journey. The driver will have information regarding the destination and all the passengers that are attending. In order to ensure a successful trip for all, you will be made aware of any passengers’ particular needs beforehand.
