Connected Communities: Supported Volunteering

Rushcliffe Community & Voluntary Service

We also have our Supported Volunteering Project, Connected Communities – working specifically with people with learning disabilities and autism, so they can access volunteering.

We understand that volunteering can be daunting, especially if you have additional needs. We will work both with you and a suitable organisation to help you to access appropriate, suitable volunteering.

We help with the following:

  • Identifying a suitable volunteer placement
  • Application forms and DBS checks
  • Training
  • On-going support
  • Peer support volunteering
