Rushcliffe Community & Voluntary Service

Rushcliffe CVS works to support independent living, particularly for those who are frail, elderly and vulnerable. We help people to stay physically and socially active, feel less isolated and improve their wellbeing.

We do this both through our volunteering support and by providing the following services:

Voluntary Transport

Our dedicated volunteers provide safe and affordable journeys for people in Rushcliffe & Gedling, who find it difficult to get out and about.

Community Development

We’re on a mission to discover and support groups and organisations making a difference in the local area. 🙌 We want to hear from YOU.

Befriending

Our Befriending volunteers can be there for a regular chat either over the phone, face-to-face, or taking things one step at a time as you work towards getting out and about.
