Paws at the Park: A Heartbeat for Nuthall
On September 12th, Active Notts joined the Pawsome Party! Paws at the Park, a beloved community café in Nuthall, celebrated its second anniversary. This isn’t just any café; it’s a Warm Welcome space, a lifeline for locals.
Founded and run by the amazing duo Alyson and Sue, Paws at the Park is a beacon in a neighbourhood with few gathering spots. It’s where older folks and families connect, walk, and enjoy each other’s company.
Thanks to a grant from Rushcliffe CVS, Paws at the Park has recently added a dash of movement to its warm welcome. Get ready to sing along! It has a new portable speaker and mic, perfect for lively singalongs at the café and local events.
And here’s where you come in! They’re looking for enthusiastic walking volunteers to lead storytelling adventures for families. Imagine exploring the neighbourhood together, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories.
For many, Paws at the Park is a lifeline, a place of warmth and support. A big shoutout to the incredible volunteers who make this community heartbeat possible!
