Find a Volunteer

Rushcliffe Community & Voluntary Service

If you’re seeking voluntary support, we can help – not only by finding volunteers but also by supporting you to run your volunteering programme in the right way.

As a charity, community or voluntary group, you may need volunteers on an ongoing basis or for occasional or seasonal work.

We can help your organisation find them once you register with us. Simply click here to download a form, fill it in and send it back to us by email or post. We’ll need you to sign a data protection form which we’ll send to you.

Once you’ve registered, we can:

  • Promote your volunteering opportunities on the national do-it volunteering website.
  • Put you on our community database so you receive monthly e-bulletins and newsletters, full of information, news and advice from our Volunteer Centre Coordinator.
  • Organise a face-to-face meeting with us, to give you any advice you may require on funding, constitutions, training, marketing and governance.

With our professional support, you can get things right from the start. Good practice helps to maintain standards, set expectations at the right level, and ensure that you and your volunteers have a positive experience.

If you’d like help in how you involve volunteers, our experienced volunteering team is here to help. We can offer free, confidential advice and support.

Please contact Jade Armstrong, our Volunteer Centre Coordinator, on 0115 969 9060 or fill out our contact form.
