The airwaves buzzed with positivity recently as Eastwood residents took to the Radio Nottingham Breakfast Show to share their inspiring stories and community initiatives. Hosted by Inspire Eastwood Library, the event brought together a vibrant crowd eager to tackle the issue of Social Isolation in Eastwood.
“The atmosphere here is electric,” shared one attendee. “So many people have turned up to share their incredible work, it’s truly heartwarming.”
Community Support Eastwood
The event provided a valuable platform for community members to connect, share their experiences, and learn from each other. From support groups to intergenerational projects, the diverse range of initiatives showcased the incredible resilience and creativity of the Eastwood community.
“I am so proud of the people of Eastwood coming together to make a difference,” expressed the event organisers. “This isn’t just about raising awareness of Loneliness in Eastwood, it’s about taking action and building a stronger, more connected community.”
