Raising funds for Voluntary Transport

Friends of Voluntary Transport

Our Friends of Voluntary Transport support our Transport Scheme by giving their time, skills and items to help us raise funds and to publicise our work as widely as possible.

Our annual quiz is now available for £1 and is available until the closing date for entries at the end of September. If you would like a copy please contact us on 0115 9699060 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

All funds raised from the sale of the quiz will go towards ensuring that our voluntary transport schemes continue to help people get out and about who would otherwise find this really difficult.

We'd like to say a huge "thank you" to our "Friend" Carole Popham who has compiled a particularly fiendish quiz for us and to all of our other "Friends" who sell and promote our quiz for us.  A big thank you too, to Rutherford's Butchers and to Boots for very generously providing the prizes.

If you would like to support our Voluntary Transport Scheme by becoming a Friend of Voluntary Transport please give us a call on 0115 9699060 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Top Notch!

Never a charity to bottle-it, Rushcliffe CVS is always on the lookout for ways of raising much-needed funds. We are looking for people to collect plastic bottle tops and used stamps which we will then turn into cash to support our transport schemes.

Plastic tops and caps from milk bottles and drinks bottles and any unused stamps are most welcome. People are being asked to collect a reasonable amount and then drop them off at Rushcliffe CVS, The Pump House, Abbey Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5NE.

The money will be helped to recruit and train new volunteer drivers so that our services can be expanded.  ‚Äč
